ACCOUNTING MANAGER JOB SUMMARY The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, financial records, reporting, and accounting controls. The role ensures accurate financial information, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting policies and applicable regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Accounting Operations

  • Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.

2. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and review monthly and periodic financial reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

3. Reconciliation & Controls

  • Review account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain effective accounting controls and procedures.

4. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure accounting activities comply with company policies and applicable standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

5. Team & Management Support

  • Supervise and support accounting staff and daily workflow.
  • Provide management with accounting information and financial insights.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

  • Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
  • Timely completion of month-end and year-end closing.
  • Account reconciliation accuracy and issue resolution.
  • Compliance with accounting policies and controls.
  • Accounting team productivity and task completion.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
  • CPA or equivalent accounting certification is an advantage.
