JUNIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
JOB SUMMARY
The Junior Financial Analyst supports financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and data management to help the organization make informed financial decisions and maintain accurate financial records.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Financial Analysis
- Analyze financial data, expenses, revenues, and business performance.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Identify trends and variances for management review.
2. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare financial reports, summaries, and spreadsheets.
- Maintain accurate financial data and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end and management reporting.
3. Budget & Variance Analysis
- Compare actual results against budgets and forecasts.
- Investigate significant variances and support corrective actions.
- Track key financial performance indicators.
4. Team Support
- Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams on financial projects.
- Provide data and analysis for business decisions.
- Support process improvements and financial reporting activities.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
- Accuracy of financial analysis and reports.
- Timeliness of reporting and analysis.
- Budget and forecast accuracy.
- Data quality and documentation.
- Completion of assigned financial projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of finance, accounting, or analytical experience.
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
