QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR

JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Supervisor oversees software testing activities and QA processes to ensure products meet quality, functionality, performance, and reliability standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. QA Supervision

• Coordinate daily testing activities and assign tasks to QA team members.
• Review test plans, cases, and results.

2. Testing & Defect Management

• Oversee functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Track defects and coordinate with developers to ensure timely resolution.

3. Quality Processes

• Monitor QA standards, procedures, and test coverage.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and efficiency.

4. Reporting & Collaboration

• Prepare QA reports and communicate testing progress and risks.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

• Test completion and coverage rates.
• Defect detection and resolution times.
• Reduction in production defects.
• QA process efficiency.
• Release quality and stability.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3–5 years of QA or software testing experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of manual and automated testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
